The word Markaz means a central meeting
point or the focal point of an activity.
The Markaz
ethos is to provide a fun place in which family and friends
can take time out and relax to the vibe of a funky, sociable
atmosphere within stylish and contemporary
surroundings.
From the delicious diversity of Indian
street foods to Middle Eastern mezze, from skewered meats
infused with fresh herbs and spice cooked over charcoal to
aromatic curries and tagine, experience authentic dishes with
a contemporary twist. All food is freshly prepared in our open
theatre kitchen creating a culinary spectacle.

Markaz our passion for quality and variety of food means that
there is something for everyone. Whether they are casual
grazers or serious three-course diners a sublime experience of
different flavours awaits.
The mouth watering range of
foods can be enjoyed with our range of fresh fruit juices and
enticing non-alcoholic mocktails. Those naughty enough can
indulge in a wide selection of gelato ice-cream, fruit sorbets
and scrumptious desserts.
With opening hours from
11.30am through to midnight on weekdays and 2am on Friday and
Saturday Nights, Markaz offers a diverse full-day dining
experience. From lunch, and afternoon snacks to late night
dining, you can eat in or enjoy food on the go.
Visit
our dedicated Shisha lounge the first of its kind in the North
of England, where you can experience the new smouldering style
accessory the shisha or Arabic water pipe. Luxuriate in the
opulent surroundings as you mellow with friends whilst smoking
fruit flavoured tobaccos. |
