Smoking shisha has become
associated with a “cooler than thou” reputation.
We want to
keep it that way.
For this reason we invite our
customers to respect the culture of smoking shisha.
In
order to do this one must master the art of shisha smoking,
which includes exercising social manners as a matter of
courtesy in the presence of other masters. In other words,
Markaz invites you to respect the culture!
The Rules
1. The Shisha
Lounge is for individuals aged 18 or over.
The Management
reserves the right to request proof of age before entry either
by a photo card driving licence or other means of genuine
identification.
2.
Markaz does not permit the smoking
of cigarettes in the Shisha Lounge.
Please do not spoil the
fragrantly sweet and aromatic confines of the
lounge.
3. Be respectful and courteous to others around you.
4. Shisha smoking is a quiet activity but still may
be social without raising your voice.
Don’t be a loudmouth
and ruin the tranquil mellow vibe!
5. At all times
whilst smoking shisha, make sure the hookah pipe is resting on
the floor and not on the table.
6. For hygiene
reasons at all times make sure that you use your own
mouth-piece tip whilst smoking shisha.
7. When sharing a
hookah pipe and you want to pass it to the next person do not
do so directly. Place the hose pipe down on the table for the
other person to pick it up. It’s part of the
culture!
8. Do not take photos in the Shisha Lounge unless
permitted by a member of staff, as it disturbs the atmosphere.
